If you’re considering making a donation to charity in Columbus, Ohio, think about choosing to make your donation to National Kidney Services (NKS). NKS accepts donations from residents of Columbus, and uses those donations to generate funds to be given to the National Kidney Foundation (NKF). From there, NKF uses these funds to raise awareness about chronic kidney disease and to provide care and support for individuals and families affected by the illness.

Donating to our charity in Columbus is simple. In fact, we offer four different methods for you to do so, and you can choose the option that works best for you. Our options include:

• Standard weekly donation pickups – Our trucks pick up charitable contributions from resident of Columbus and surrounding areas Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. until dark.
• Expedited donation pickups – This service is available only by request and is designed to help Columbus residents donate items that need to be picked up within a week’s time, if not sooner than that.
• Saturday pickups – Also by request, you may have NKS pick up your tax-deductible* donations on the weekend.
• Donation center drop offs – You may also drop off items you’d like to donate at any of the Ohio Thrift stores located throughout the greater Columbus area.
