Donations to Our Charity in Columbus, Lancaster, Dayton & Surrounding Areas Help Kidney Patients in Need

Making donations to charity is easy when you contribute to National Kidney Services (NKS). By establishing an extensive and free donation pick up service that serves residents in Columbus, Lancaster, Delaware, Dayton, and throughout Central Ohio, we’ve made it possible for anyone to donate, regardless of their mobility or access to reliable transportation.

If you’re not sure if you have any donations for our charity group, you may be surprised at all the places you can look for used clothes and household items in your home. Grab an empty box or garbage bag and look through your:

• Closets
• Dresser drawers
• Kitchen cabinets
• Basement
• Attic
• Garage
• Storage closets
• Seasonal storage bins
• Toy chests
• Media cabinets

NKS accepts a variety of donations to our charity, including books, toys, CDs, DVDs, televisions, radios, stereos, DVD players, dish sets, silverware, glassware, books, decorative items, cookware, small furniture, and more. To request a standard weekday donation pick up, fill out our online form or call 614-351-2900 to be added to our donation call list. Approximately every four to six weeks, an NKS representative will contact you when donation pickups are being scheduled in your area. Expedited pickups and Saturday special collections are available upon request. You can also donate unwanted items to our charity by bringing them to any NKS donation drop box in your area, or any Ohio Thrift store in Columbus, Whitehall, Grove City, or Washington Court House.
